Country Club CCIL sets up shop in Goa

| Goa's clubbing scene is set to step up a notch with the Country Club CCIL, the country's largest chain of family clubs, opening its first outlet, Country Clube de Goa, at Anjuna in Bardez. |
| Country Clube de Goa consists of 48 suites (including two presidential), a swimming pool, health club and an open-air restaurant. The club has been given a Goan and Portuguese touch. |
| The CCIL's current club membership stands at 1,50,000 with a workforce of around 5,000 and a total of 20 properties. |
| The clubs are spread across Bangalore, Mumbai, Vizag, Mysore and Hyderabad and have global affiliations with national and international resorts. |
| "It was a long-fulfiled ambition to set up shop in Goa, which is an extension of my personality. Whereas my desire is to make Goa the best clubbing destination, I have three more projects in the pipeline," CMD Y Rajeev Reddy said. |
| He said Goa has great potential for scuba diving and snorkelling. "I have experienced scuba diving in Maldives and know its potential. I want to make Country Clube and Goa the best destination for water sports," he added. |
| CCIL has kept an attractive offer of two nights and three days free stay at the Clube for new members in the state on its various packages ranging from Rs 1.15 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh. |
