Divi's Labs net dips 25%

Hyderabad-based Divi's Laboratories has registered a 24.8 per cent drop in its net profit for the third quarter to Rs 15.24 crore compared with Rs 20.26 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.

The company's net sales in the quarter has grown by 22.8 per cent to Rs 101.07 crore (Rs 82.30 crore). The total income stood at Rs 104.74 crore (Rs 85.04 crore).

The earnings per share is at Rs 11.89 (Rs 15.81). Tax provision of the company for the quarter under consideration, however, was lower at Rs 9.59 crore compared with Rs 10.14 crore during the corresponding period last fiscal, according to a company press release.

For the nine months, the net profit fell by 15.44 per cent to Rs 43.06 crore (Rs 50.92 crore), while net sales increased by 16.31 per cent to Rs 237.89 crore (Rs 204.52 crore).
