| Donear Ind net up 57.7% at Rs 8.1 crore |
| Suitings and shirtings major, Donear Industries has reported 57.7 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 8.1 crore for the quarter ended March 2006. |
| The company has reported 33.6 per cent year-on-year growth in net sales at Rs 40.93 crore in Q4FY06. Despite a 82 per cent rise in its raw material costs, operating profit increased 93.2 per cent to Rs 7.7 crore. |
| Other income more than doubled to Rs 2.02 crore. Both operating and net margins have improved by over 500 bps and 300 bps respectively to 18.8 per cent and 20 per cent respectively. |
| For the year ended March 2006, the company's net sales increased by 14 per cent at Rs 141.7 crore and other income jumped 200 per cent to Rs 5 crore. Operating and net profit increased by over 30 per cent each to Rs 21.3 crore and 24.7 crore, respectively. |
| Graphite India net up at Rs 63 crore |
| Graphite India Ltd of K K Bangur group has posted a net profit of Rs 62.9 crore in the financial year ended March 31, 2006 compared with Rs 48 crore in 2004-05. |
| Turnover was Rs 631.2 crore in 2005-06 compared with Rs 525.8 crore in the corresponding period of 2004-05. |
| Hindustan Sanitary Q4 net dips 14.46% |
| Hindustan Sanitaryware & Industries reported a net profit of Rs 8.22 crore for the quarter ended March 31 2006, 14.46 per cent lower compared with Rs 9.61 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. |
| Net sales were up by 23.43 per cent at Rs122.56 crore compared with Rs 99.29 crore for the corresponding quarter in 2005. The board has recommended a dividend of 65 per cent of Rs 1.30 per equity share of Rs 2 each. |
| Ratnabali Capital FY06 net up 163% |
| Ratnabali Capital Markets has witnessed a 163 per cent jump in net profit in the year ended March 31, 2006 at Rs 16.65 crore compared with Rs 6.32 crore in 2004-05. |
| However, turnover has declined from Rs 666.64 crore to Rs 441.83 crore during the same period. The promoter Suresh Somani, said the better results was owing to higher margin in arbitrage activities. |
