Edelweiss promotes Himanshu Kaji as ED

Edelweiss Financial Services has re-designated Group CFO Himanshu Kaji as an Executive Director.

With his inclusion, the board of directors at Edelweiss Financial Services has now been strengthened to eight members, the company said in a statement.

Kaji is a chartered accountant with a post-graduate diploma in securities law. Starting off with ICICI as an investment banker, he joined his family broking business and later launched his own company offering corporate advisory services. One of his key assignments was the modernisation and corporatisation of the Bombay Stock Exchange.

He also served as honorary treasurer and spokesperson of the BSE during 1999-2001.
