Essar Shipping may restructure biz

Ruia brothers promoted Essar Shipping Ports & Logistics on Wednesday said it would consider a proposal for the restructuring of its businesses.

The board of directors of the company will meet on Thursday to consider segregating shipping, logistics and oil field services business from ports and terminal business. It would also consider a merger of certain subsidiaries into the company, Essar Shipping said in a statement to Bombay Stock Exchange.
