Euro Ceramics bottomline up 13%

Euro Ceramics has reported a 12.84 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 8.70 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2007, as compared with Rs 7.71 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The company's earnings before depreciation, interest & tax (EBIDTA) increased 42 per cent to Rs 23.75 crore as against Rs 16.74 crore in the corresponding period last year. Consolidated sales amounted to Rs 68.27 crore, up 43 per cent from Rs 47.64 crore.

Calsoft PAT up at Rs 4.83 cr

California Software Co (Calsoft) has posted a consolidated profit after tax of Rs 4.83 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2007. It had posted Rs 63 lakh in PAT in the corresponding quarter last year.

PAT increased 122 per cent from Rs 2.18 crore in the first quarter ended June 30. Consolidated revenues in the second quarter were Rs 59.94 crore, up 11 per cent from Rs 53.95 crore in the previous quarter ended June 30.

Surana Telecom net up 66%

Surana Telecom and Power has reported a 65.75 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 2.71 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2007, as compared with Rs 1.63 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

This is despite the 56.6 per cent decline in total revenues which stood at Rs 17.52 crore for the quarter under review as compared with Rs 40.41 crore in the corresponding previous quarter.
