German tech ensures safe water

The Mumbai-based Tanclean Services has made a foray into Mysore with a German technology for ensuring a clean and hygienic storage water solutions.

Water storage tanks are generally located underground or overhead. Their maintenance is often overlooked, though the water stored may be used for a variety of household and commercial purposes.

As a result, the water stored in such tanks become home to a variety of germs, bacteria, pollutants and suspended particles.

Tanclean is offering an established scientific solution to clean and disinfect the storage tanks for a wide variety of customers "" from private houses to co-operative societies, hotels to commercial establishments, corporate houses to municipal and water supply authorities and hospitals.

Explaining the services offered by Tanclean, Karthik Combines' partner P V Lokesh told reporters on Wednesday that the technology involves a six-stage cleaning process - mechanised dewatering, sludge removal, high pressure cleaning, vacuum cleaning, anti-bacterial spray and UV radiation.
