General Motors (GM) is installing more than a dozen new executives to its international operations, as the automaker's sweeping shake-up of top management spreads overseas.

GM appointed 14 new executives at its Shanghai-based international operations, including new vice presidents of purchasing, quality, human resources and manufacturing.

The automaker also named Mike Arcamone CEO of GM Daewoo, the company's Korean operations, replacing Michael Grimaldi. Alan Batey replaces Mark Reuss as managing director of GM Holden in Australia.

The new appointments come a day after the Detroit automaker named five new board members. It also follows an array of new sales and marketing executive announcements.
