GSFC net up 37%

Net profit of Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd (GSFC), a flagship fertiliser company of the Gujarat government, jumped 37 per cent to Rs 812.31 crore during the third quarter ended December 2004 compared with Rs 594.11 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous year.

The company's net sales during the period was up 27 per cent at Rs 1,879.44 crore in the quarter under review compared with Rs 1,477.20 crore in the third quarter of 2002-03.
