IT Grids to raise Rs 5 crore VC fund soon

Hyderabad-based software company IT Grids (India) Private Limited is in the process of raising Rs 5-crore venture capital fund shortly to fuel the expansion of its ‘Party Analyst’ product.
Announcing the launch of Party Analyst, a comprehensive and integrated election analysis and management platform here on Sunday, Ashok Dakavaram chief executive officer and technical director of IT Grids, told mediapersons that the company was expecting to close the fund raising exercise in the next six months and intended to utilise the amount to expand the product as a service across the country, besides providing call centre support for politicians.
“The online platform is built to offer a plethora of solutions to all stakeholders of elections in India including political parties, politicians, print, electronic and new media and the voters. While the product is available for political parties on a subscription basis, it is free for voters to connect and interact with their local leaders,” he said.
The online platform, www.partyanalyst.com, will enable users to know, analyse and act on election analysis and planning, design poll strategies, employ better communication channels to reach the cadre and people, manage people’s problems in a better way, get detailed information for party success, besides providing micro-level election information on fingertips.
Dakavaram said the media cold draw enormous benefits with the features of the platform such as detailed election information and analysis, political snapshot in district, Parliament and Assembly levels, demographic-based analysis for election results and understanding party strengths and weaknesses with graphs and charts.
