Linen Club plans 100 new stores by March 2013

Eyes Rs 750 crore turn over in FY 2010-11
Linen Club, the premium branded retail chain from Jaya Shree Textiles of Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd, has opened its 40th new store in Nashik. With an aim to strengthen its base, the company is planning to open 100 new stores at select locations in the next two years (by March 2013).
The company has set sales turn over target of Rs 750 crore for the current FY 2010-11 and eyeing 20 per cent year-on-year growth for the next two years.
Linen Club stores offer a wide range of linen fabrics and ready-to-wear garments. In fabrics, Linen Club offers pure linen to exotic linen blends, printed and embroidered linen fabrics suitable for wardrobes of men, women and kids.
In ready-to-wear garments, Linen Club offers shirts, trousers, jackets and suits. Other accessories like Stoles, Laptop bags and Scarves are also available in Linen Club stores.“We have good presence in Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh as we have total 21 stores in these two states. We are planning to have total 150 stores, by adding another 100-110 new stores at select locations across the country in the next two years (by March 2013),” Abhey Nair, Sr. Vice-President, Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd, told Business Standard.
“We are expecting a turn over of of Rs 750 crore in the current FY 2010-11, against Rs 600 crore in FY 2009-10 and eyeing 20 per cent year-on-year growth for the next two financial years,” he said.
