Omnitech net up 67% in Q2

IT firm Omnitech Infosolutions today announced a net profit of Rs 9.01 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, registering a 67 per cent growth over the previous quarter last year.

The company had recorded a net profit of Rs 5.39 crore in the same period of FY'08, Omnitech said in a statement.

The net income rose 63 per cent to Rs 45.96 crore in the second quarter; compared with Rs 28.15 crore in the same period last fiscal.

In September this year, the company tied up with Kaseya, an IT automation software development company, to enhance its remote infrastructure management capability using Kaseya tools, it added.
