Glass packaging firm Piramal Glass today reported over two-fold jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 25.77 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2013.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 10.63 crore in the same period of previous fiscal, Piramal Glass said in a filing to the BSE.
Consolidated net sales of the company stood at Rs 428.10 crore in the April-June quarter, compared to Rs 384.80 crore during the same period of previous fiscal.
The company's shares were trading at Rs 89.85 apiece in the afternoon trade, down 3.02% from their previous close, on the BSE.
