RCF Q4 net up 76% to Rs 69 cr

Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertiliser today said it has reported a 76.32 per cent growth in its net profit at Rs 69.42 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010.

However, the total income of the company from operations declined to Rs 1,400.58 crore for the quarter ended March 31, from Rs 1,912.88 crore in the same quarter last year, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertiliser (RCF) said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The board of directors have proposed a dividend of Rs 1.10 per equity share, or 11 per cent, on the face value of Rs 10 each to the shareholders.

 

For the year ended March 31, the company posted a net profit of Rs 234.8 crore, up 11 per cent over the year-ago period.
    
Shares of RCF closed at Rs 70.65 on the BSE, which is 3.90 per cent higher from previous close.
