Reliance Net Up 6.4% To Rs 702 Crore, Sales Decline

Reliance Industries has posted a 6.4 per cent increase in net profits for the quarter ended September 30, 2001 to Rs 702 crore, up from Rs 660 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Net sales, however, declined 7.3 per cent to Rs 6,234 crore (Rs 6,721 crore) in the quarter
