Dubai, Oct 3 (PTI) India's Religare Securities Ltd (RSL) has entered into a strategic partnership with a leading brokerage firm in the West Asian region, Mubasher Financial Services (MFS), to tap the cross-border investment opportunities.
The collaboration will enable Mubasher clients to trade on Religare's platform and access opportunities in India. Similarly, Religare clients can now use Mubasher's platform to access global markets such as the US, the UK and Europe.
The alliance aims to cover a wide range of cross-border trading and investment opportunities, MSF said.
From Mubasher's perspective, Non Resident Indians (NRIs) and Qualified Foreign Investors (QFIs) will enjoy access to opportunities in India.
From Religare's standpoint, around its million clients will now benefit from Mubasher's online trading platforms while exploring international markets.
By using the advanced online trading platforms, clients will have real time access to investment opportunities, while staying up to date on the latest fluctuations and developments.
"Today, India as an investment destination cannot be ignored by any global investor and we are very excited to partner with a leading broker like MFS to offer this opportunity to NRIs and QFIs from GCC," said Jayant Manglik, President, Retail Distribution, Religare Broking.
On the other hand, he said, the growing wealth in India has also triggered a demand for international trading products and investment opportunities.
"...With MFS strengths, capabilities and experience in international online trading we would be able to provide the perfect gateway for our clients to diversify their portfolios globally," Manglik said.
CEO of Mubasher, Malek Kanawati, said: "We will leverage on our extensive experience in West Asian and western financial markets to work with Religare and innovate market leading technology platforms and investment opportunities to Indian clients."
