RPL Quarterly net to Rs 84 cr

Reliance Petroleum Limited (RPL) has posted a net profit of Rs 84 crore on net sales of Rs 3,678 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2009. The figures of the previous year were not available, as its 580,000 barrels of oil per day refinery in Jamnagar commenced commercial operations from March 15.

The company has employed a capital of Rs 33,982 crore ($6.7 billion) against the projected target of Rs 27,000 crore ($5.7 billion).
