SME infra construction expo from today

As part of its cluster-focus strategy in the small scale and medium enterprise (SME) sector, ICICI Bank, with Puzzolana Machinery Fabricators as its co-sponsor, is organising a three-day exhibition 'Expo-Infrastructure Construction 2007' at the Hitex Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad from January 18.

Aimed at providing a platform for companies in the infrastructure construction industry to meet, network and seek business opportunities with all the relevant stakeholders, the event is expected to witness the participation of over 50 exhibitors, including 10-15 SMEs, Sanjeev Mantri, joint general manager (head "� cluster banking group), told the media here on Wednesday.

The participants at the expo include JCB, Terex Vectra, Kirby Constructions, GMMCO, Marg Constructions, Intel and Jet Airways.

As part of the SME expo, a two-day seminar on 'Infrastructure: Opportunities and trends' will also be organised. Deloitte, the knowledge partner for the event, will release a white paper on the infrastructure construction industry at the inauguration of the seminar.
