Sundaram Alliance insurance ties up for Common Service Centres

The move is in association with Bhartiya Samruddhi Finance Ltd

Aimed at benefiting rural customers, city-based Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Company has launched Common Service Centres in association with Bhartiya Samruddhi Finance Ltd.

Bhartiya Samruddhi Finance Ltd is the flagship company of BASIX Social Enterprise Group. Objective of this partnership is to provide insurance products to rural customers through the online platform, Royal Sundaram said in a statement.

Bhartiya Samruddhi Finance Ltd already has about 3000 common service centres across five states, it said.

"With this technological progress, we aim to provide them (customers) the privilege of availing policies instantly. Going forward we would like to extend the online sale and service to our customers in the rural area", Royal Sundaram Managing Director Ajay Bimbhet said.

Currently, the rural hospital cash, the popular rural health insurance policy, is available online at the common service centres, the statement added.
