Syntel appoints Keshav Murugesh as CEO

Nasdaq listed Syntel, an IT services and knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) firm with operations in India, announced the appointment of Keshav R Murugesh as Chief Executive Officer of the company, with immediate effect.

Murugesh joined the company in 2002 as chief financial officer (CFO) and was promoted to the role of chief operating officer (COO) in 2006. Bharat Desai will continue as chairman of the board.
