Tainwala Seeks Buyer For Casper, Fresh Ones

The Mumbai-based Tainwala PersonalCare Products Ltd is looking for a buyer for its Casper (mosquito repellant) and Fresh Ones (face tissue) brands, and is seeking a foray into the OTC drug segment.

According to sources, the company has already initiated talks with a couple of multinationals who are looking at the Indian personal care products markets seriously, and it has already appointed a consultant to conduct a due diligence and brand valuation.

Rakesh Tainwala, managing director of the company, while admitting that discussions were on with a few companies, said no consultant had been appointed as yet.
