TDSAT rejects Radio One plea on uniform FM freq

| TDSAT today rejected Radio One's petition challenging the government's decision to award the 92.5 MHz frequency with which the channel is synonymous in Mumbai, to Anil Ambani Group-promoted FM channel Radio Big in New Delhi. A TDSAT Bench headed by Justice Arun Kumar rejected Radio One's petition, which is promoted by media house Mid Day. Radio One had approached TDSAT seeking a uniform frequency for all its six radio stations across the country, but the government allotted three different frequencies to it. |
