Tetley To Fill Gaps In Tata Tea Portfolio

Tetley will be filling gaps in portfolio offerings, as part of its integration process with Tata Tea.

Ken Pringle, chief executive officer of The Tetley Group (TTGL), said Tetley, which is essentially into tea bags, will now venture into packet tea.

In a few months, Tetley packet tea will be launched in Russia, which is a key market, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Krishna Kumar, chairman, Tata Tea, said this is part of the integration process, which will help the companies operate as one seamless entity. The integration is, however, at an operational level only.

The company is in the process of merging operations of Tata Tea with Tetley
