TVS Motor to launch two 150cc bikes

TVS Motor Company is planning to launch two 150cc bikes before the end of the current financial year.

"One 150cc bike will be launched in December, and the second bike will be launched in March. Each will be different from the other in terms of styling and features," Venu Srinivasan, chairman and managing director of TVS Motor, said today.

He added that the company is aiming at selling 2,50,000 bikes between August and October.

TVS Motor is also planning to launch a new, 90cc Scooty pep model, which was aimed at "riders who want more power," Srinivasan said.

The company will also launch a Victor GX-125 model next month.

"The R&D team was working on the company's products for the Asean markets, which would start production from Indonesia in the last quarter of the next financial year (2006-07)," Srinivasan said.
