UB net soars 40.2% to Rs 30 cr

On the back of sound growth in sales numbers, United Breweries Ltd (UBL), the beer company of UB Group owned by Vijay Mallya, has posted a 40.2 per cent rise in its net profit to Rs 29.8 crore in the third quarter ending December. Total income of the company went up by 38 per cent to Rs 609.6 crore.
