Yamaha Motor India total sales up 51.95% in June

Two-wheeler maker Yamaha Motor India Sales (YMIS) today reported 51.95% increase in total sales at 49,168 units for June, 2013.
The company had sold a total of 32,358 units in the corresponding month last year, YMIS said in a statement.
In the domestic market, the company registered a rise of 46.23% in its sales at 35,561 units compared to 24,318 units in the year-ago period, it added.
In the export markets, YMIS sold 13,607 units in June, 2013 as against to 8,040 units in the same month last year, achieving a growth of 69.24%.
