Apruv Mishra from Odisha has joined as a panelist at the prestigious World Economic Forum (WEF) being held at Davos in Switzerland on the topic 'Future with Wearable Technology'.
Mishra is among the 30 attendees under the age of 30 to have been selected as a panelist. The topic would be moderated by Alex Pentland of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), US. The WEF summit at Davos is attended by 50 heads of states and chief executive officers of top 500 companies of the world.
Mishra who hails from Bhubaneswar is now based in San Francisco. An MPhil in 'Technology Policy' from the University of Cambridge, Mishra is the founder of Glavio Wearable Computing.
Prior to this, he founded Future.ly for geospatial mapping of emerging technology clusters. At 16, he founded Innovator Factor Foundation as one of the first think tank on Open Innovation.
