27 proposals for clusters cleared

The Centre has approved 27 proposals to set up clusters with common infrastructure facilities for micro and small units, at a total cost of Rs 73 crore. The projects spread across the country would be developed in the public-private-partnership mode. Of the total project cost of Rs 73.40 crore, the gover-nment assistance would be Rs 51.75 crore and the rest would be funded by private players. In a recent meeting, the micro, small and medium enterprises ministry cleared four proposals.
