AP delegation signs 11 MoUs in China

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said he was looking at transforming the deep water ports on the AP seacoast as a logistics hub for South East Asia

A delegation, led by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, on Tuesday signed 11 agreements in China during his visit to that country.

According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office, the state industries department signed a pact with China’s Camel Group, a company engaged in research and development, manufacture and distribution and recycling of storage batteries.

The government has also signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, China Council for Promotion of International Trade, New Hope Liuhe Company Limited, a farm industry player among other things.

Besides, business to business pacts were signed with Chinese companies by apparel maker Brandix, construction company Transtroy among others.
 

During interaction with Chinese businessmen, Naidu said he was looking at transforming the deep-water ports on the Andhra sea cost as a logistics hub for Southeast Asia, according to a press release.
