Asian markets shine; Nikkei ends up 300pts

Asian markets have moved up across the board following significant gains on the Wall Street.

Japan's Nikkei ended with a gain of 300 points at 17,544.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng has rallie d179 points to 20,182, and the Shanghai index has added nine points to 3300.

The Kospi and KLSE indices have added 19 points each to 1483 and 1276, respectivley. The Straits Times index has moved up 33 points to 3322, and the Taiwan Weighted index has gained 72 points at 8005.
