Bids invited for Chennai Mono Rail

The Tamil Nadu government has invited global bids for implementing the Rs 8,500-crore Phase-I works of the Chennai Mono Rail Project. Tamil Nadu finance minister O Panneerselvam, in his Budget Speech on Monday, said, “This project will be implemented through the design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) model.”
