Debt-ridden farmer ends life in Nashik

A debt ridden farmer committed suicide by hanging himself in a temple at Lonjai hill here, police said on Wednesday. Unable to bear the stress of returning the Rs 2.5 lakh loan that Sunil Revaji Talekar (40), resident of Rampur village in Nashik's Niphad taluka, he took the extreme step yesterday, police said. He is survived by his wife, son and a daughter.
