The Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited (Elcot) has decided to procure one lakh notebook computers to provide it at affordable rates to students in the state.

		</script> </DIV><p class='TableClas'>An&nbsp;Elcot press release said today an open tender would be floated soon to procure the notebook computers and supply it to students at low-cost.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </P>
</p><p class='TableClas'>The notebooks would be priced in the range of Rs 20,000 to Rs 21,000 per notebook.&nbsp;The tender rate is likely to be finalised during the beginning of June 2008, the release added.</P></p></table>
