“Besides allocating funds to infrastructure, we wish the Budget to strengthen the institutional capabilities in designing PPPs (railways, urban), in creating a predictable pipeline of projects (ports, airports), and in their effective implementation (roads). We also wish to see steps towards creating a credit-enhancement mechanism to channelise longer-term low-cost funds into infrastructure.”
