Ficci wants tax benefits for food additives industry

Industry chamber Ficci has asked the government to extend tax benefits and export incentives, that the food processing industry gets, to the food additives industry in order to boost the sector.

In a seminar today, the industry chamber has also sought food additives and ingredient parks in the country.

A Ficci statement said that harmonisation of food laws with international best practises would also boost the sector.
