| The Posco India hostage crisis came to an end late on Friday night, with the Gobindpur villagers releasing the company executives they had taken captive earlier in the day, according to TV channels. Three employees of Posco India, the Indian subsidiary of the South Korean steel major planning to set up a 12-million tonne steel plant in Paradip, had been detained by the villagers of Gobindpur, when they had gone there this afternoon to canvass for land acquisition for the project.
