I-T searches on 46 premises of real estate developers in Guj

Income tax officials today carried out searches on 46 premises of real estate developers in Gujarat, including a joint venture partner of Pacifica real estate group.

"A total of 46 premises of real estate developers in Vadodara and Ahmedabad, including, Madrid, a joint venture partner of Pacifica real estate group and sub-groups are being searched simultaneously for tax evasion today," an I-T official said.

Around 200 personnel, including policemen, have been deployed in the extensive search and seizure operation.
