Jute Symposium Poised To Take Off

The Jute Manufacturers Development Council (JMDC), in association with NCJD, NIFT, IJMA, IJIRA and the office of the Jute Commissioner, is hosting an international symposium on jute from February 22 to 24.

Key resources persons from the public sector, represenatives from major trade associations dealing in various commodities, fashion design, academics from research institutions, organisations from fair trade organisations have been invited. S Majumdar, jute commissioner said that there will be 15 overseas delegates and 100 from the Indian jute industry.
