Mulla Pravara Withdraws Tariff Revision Plea

Mulla Pravara Co-operative Society, a body which holds the rights to supply electricity to a part of Ahmednagar district, has withdrawn its petition before the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC) to effect a tariff revision. The society supplies power to about seven lakh consumers.

Ironically, Mulla Pravara was seeking to reduce its tariffs. The MERC spokesman told Business Standard:
