NEWSALERT: Tension flares up in Nandigram

Tension flares up in Nandigram as open firing is reported from various places inside Nandigram.

Open firing between Left Front and Trinamool supporters has been reported from the following blocks-GokulNagar, Adhikaripara, Takapura, Tekhali bridge some of the most sensitive areas.

Two-three casualties reported.

Rapid Action Force has been deployed in some of these areas.

Overall voter turnout in Tamluk was around 32 percent till 1 pm.

CPI(M) candidate Shyamal Chakrabarty demands re-poll.
