Talks Have No Effect On Pakistan: Advani

BSCAL

BJP president L K Advani said yesterday that the ongoing bilateral talks between India and Pakistan have failed to bring any positive change in Islamabads attitude.

He accused the Centre of adopting a weak-kneed foreign policy in the name of Gujral doctrine.

The recent secretary-level talks and restoration of hotline between the prime ministers of both the countries have not brought any positive change, he told newsmen here before leaving on his Swarn Jayanti Rath Yatra to Punjab.

Islamabad, after having lost three wars, has changed its strategy and mounted yet another full-scale military aggression against India through proxy war, he said and added proxy war cannot be countered by a kid-gloved approach.

Charging the Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) agency with introducing the culture of RDX and assault rifles in India, he said Pakistan has not changed its stand on Kashmir even as its Indian ambassador had recently stated his country was not involved in militancy in Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of India.

He claimed there were positive evidences about the agencys involvement in militancy in india and setting up of training camps in pakistan-occupied kashmir (pok) and pakistan. (more) pti mkb vs kvv kvv 07111441 d
