Allahabad Bank Q3 net up 41%

Allahabad Bank today reported 40.8% increase in net profit at Rs 224.30 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005 from Rs 159.25 crore in the correponding quarter a year ago.

According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE today, total income increased 22% to Rs 1,095.59 crore when compared with Rs 897.80 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004.
