BoR profit rises 112% to Rs 42 cr

Bank of Rajasthan today posted a 112 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 42.15 crore in the quarter ended December 2007 as against Rs 19.81 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
 
The bank's total income inceased by 43 per cent to Rs 309.33 crore compared with Rs 215.34 crore. Other income has risen 93.65 per cent to Rs 46.94 crore.
 
Other income includes realised amount of Rs 15 lakh from an insurance company and if this income is treated as period income as observed by auditors, other income will be less to that extent.

The net non-performing assets of the bank stood at 0.55 per cent and capital adeqaucy at 12.89 per cent.
