Compulsory Disaster Insurance Planned

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Irda) is planning to introduce compulsory disaster management and insurance shortly.

The authority has recently put forth a proposal before the World Bank, and got its acceptance for introducing the novel scheme first time in the country.

Under this, the authority plans to get a
