Credit Suisse appoints Aditya Mishra as Head of Delhi office

Swiss banking major Credit Suisse today said it has appointed Aditya Mishra as head of its operations in Delhi with immediate effect.

Mishra, who was managing partner at AM Advisors, would report to Puneet Matta, Head of Wealth Management for Credit Suisse in India, the company said in a statement issued here.

The appointment emphasises the company's commitment to strengthen its wealth management activities and services to clients, it added.

Mishra would be based in Delhi and focus on serving wealthy individuals, families and corporations, who are increasingly seeking a more sophisticated approach in terms of asset allocation as well as gaining access to a global platform for specialised financial services and products.

 

"Credit Suisse is committed to delivering the highest quality services to our clients in India and I am very pleased that Mishra has agreed to join the bank," Matta said.

Prior to joining AM Advisors, Mishra held various senior positions in leading banks in Asia. He was Head of Products & Consumer Clients at Dresdner Bank, India, and Head of NRI Wealth Management at ABN AMRO Singapore.

Credit Suisse has been present in India for over 10 years.
