Dena Bank to add 4 mn customers this fiscal

| The public sector, Dena Bank, will add four million clients this financial year. |
| Speaking to reporters at Ahmedabad, P L Gairola, Chairman and Managing Director, Dena Bank, said, "In the present financial year, the bank plans to increase its customer base by 40 lakh." The bank's present customer base stands at 90 lakh. |
| The bank plans to attract more customers by improving its service and giving prompt service. |
| "We will ask our bank customers to come accompanied by individuals who could be potential new customers of Dena Bank," said Gairola. |
| The bank predicts that if out of the 90 lakh customers even 10 per cent make an efforts to bring five customers for the bank then approximately 45 lakh customers could be added. |
| Apart from this, the bank will also put into use its other resources to garner additional customers for the bank. |
| The bank is also looking to add on an average 250 accounts from each of the branches. The bank is looking at customers from retail and SME segment to add to its customer base. |
| The bank will also expand its ATM network by adding 180 ATMs to its existing 270 ATMs. The bank also plans to add 50 branches in present year subject to RBI approval. |
| "We are also looking to outsource ATM handling work, but nothing has been finalised yet," added Gairola. |
