Deutsche Bank strengthens equities team

The German banking major also announced the appointment of Pramod Ahwad as Head of Dealing.     

"These hires are yet another indicator of our commitment to our equities presence in India and implementation of our growth strategy," Deutsche's Head, Global Markets Equities, Asia, Noreddine Sebti, said in a statement here.     

Prior to this, Laijawala was Head of Asia Pacific Metals & Mining Research at JP Morgan in Mumbai with nearly 15 years of equities experience.     

 

Dick Mody joins Deutsche from Morgan Stanley where he headed the sales effort in the US for four-and-a-half years and brings with him 16 years of experience in the Indian capital markets and numerous institutional client relationships.     

Pramod Ahwad was earlier with Kotak Securities and brings in 14 years of capital market experience, the release said.
