Forex reserves down $346mn to $229bn

Foreign exchange reserves declined $346 million to $228.996 billion for the week ended August 10, according to data released by the RBI today.

Foreign currency assets declined $335 million to $221.653 billion, and SDRs were down $11 million at $1 million.

Gold reserves were unchanged at $6.887 billion.
