Forex reserves zoom $4.1bn to $219bn

Foreign exchange reserves zoomed $4.121 billion to $218.956 billion during the week ended July 13, according to the weekly supplement released by RBI today.

Foreign currency assets moved up $4.118 billion to $211.703 billion.

Gold reserves and SDRs were unchanged at $6.787 billion and $1 million, respectively.

Reserve position in the International Monetary Fund increased $3 millon to $465 million.
