HDFC Q3 net rises 29%

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) has posted a 29% jump in net profit to Rs 236.05 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2004 as compared to Rs 182.81 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2003.

According to a release issued to the BSE, the total income has increased from Rs 747.22 crore in Q3-03 to Rs 848.01 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004.
